Established in 1988, Protos Packaging is a successful privately-owned packaging company specialising in converting polypropylene and other flexible films such as polyester, cellulose, biodegradable films and laminates.

Our History

In 1998, continued expansion meant a move for our 30 employees to a brand new specially designed factory site where a full range of services are now offered including:

 • flexo printing
 • multi-perforating
 • slitting
 • folding
 • sheeting and
 • bag-making facilities.

Why Protos?

The name "PROTOS" is derived from the Greek word meaning "first" and as one of the leading specialists in this market, the Company have continued to be innovative and ahead of its competitors by consistently offering our customers new and exciting packaging to enhance their products.

Our Facilities

Completion of a new warehouse in January 2000 brought storage of bulk raw material under one roof at the Burma Road site enhancing the already fast and flexible service we offer to our customers.
